Welcome to Students For Literacy in Ottawa/Frontier College in Ottawa Wiki!

We are a volunteer group, established in Ottawa, Ontario in 1994. Students for Literacy in Ottawa is a local chapter of Frontier College, a Canadian national literacy organization founded in 1899. Currently we work with children and youth in the Ottawa area who have a high need of help with their reading and writing. We believe that literacy is a right and we work towards achieving literacy for all. At present, a little over half of our volunteers are university or college students, while the others are members of the community. You do not have to be a student to volunteer with us.

PBwiki Website

wiki style page!

  • Create a new page (2 ways)
    • First, you can type a word with SeveralCapitalLetters (or even type NewPage), which will automatically create a link to that page! A dashed underline means the page doesn't exist yet.
    • Second, you can put [brackets] around any word to create a new page. For example, if you wanted a page named cars, you could just type [cars].
